Art for Research

Here’s something a little different than all the game art I’ve been posting.  These are worksheets for use in a Groningen University research project experiment with children.  It was for a linguistics project, the ultimate goal, I think, was to study how children understand language in order to write better programming for artificial intelligence applications.

So, what we have is images of monsters either all doing something, or not.  I wasn’t a part of the actual implementation of the worksheets, so I’m not entirely sure how it worked.  But, it was quite fun to come up with a variety of really different looking creatures.
